Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use ROKIVENT (rokivent.com) to find events, buy tickets or host events. By creating an account or buying a ticket you agree to them.
1. What ROKIVENT is
ROKIVENT is a platform that lets independent organizers sell tickets to their events. The organizer, not ROKIVENT, runs each event and is responsible for the event itself, including the programme, venue, safety and any changes.
2. Accounts
Give us correct details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy tickets.
3. Buying tickets
- Prices are shown in naira. The price you see at checkout is what you pay.
- Payments are processed securely by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
- Your e-ticket is issued once payment is confirmed and is sent to your email and shown under My tickets.
- Each ticket has a QR code that can be scanned once. Do not share a screenshot of it publicly, because the first person to scan it gets in.
4. Refunds and cancelled events
Please read our Refund Policy.
5. Organizers
Organizers must give accurate event details, hold the event as described, and not sell tickets for anything illegal. We may review, decline, suspend or remove an event that breaks these terms, is misleading or puts people at risk. Payouts are made to the bank account the organizer connects, after ROKIVENT's platform fee and payment provider charges.
6. Things you must not do
Do not resell tickets above face value, use another person's account or payment details, try to break or overload the site, or use ROKIVENT to send spam or commit fraud.
7. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the site running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, ROKIVENT is not liable for an organizer's event, or for losses beyond the price of the ticket you bought through us.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
